📿 The best Dhikr after Quran
Sayyiduna Samurah ibn Jundub (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘The best words [to recite] after Quran -and these words are part of the Quran- are four. It does not matter which one you begin with;
Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah,
La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar.
📖 (Musnad Ahmad, 5/20)
✔️‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared the narrators reliable.
📖 (Majma’uz Zawaid, 10/88)
🎙️Other Hadiths explain that these words are the most beloved to Allah Ta’ala.
📖 (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2137. Also see: Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 3811)
Let’s make this a daily habit & a recital that we engage in whenever we are free

🔎What to do when hearing news of a funeral ⚰️
The following is the insightful advice of our Respected Founder & Ameer; Hazrat Moulana Haroon Abasoomar (rahimahullah):
When hearing the news of the death of a fellow Muslim, do the following:
1️⃣Recite: inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
2️⃣Make du’a for forgiveness for the deceased.
3️⃣Make du’a for the family to be blessed with patience.
4️⃣Make du’a for a good death for ourselves.
5️⃣Do isal thawab for the deceased.
6️⃣Whenever you think of the deceased, immediately make du’a [& isaal thawab] for them.
7️⃣Attend the funeral, if it is within reasonable distance.
🤲🏼 May Allah Ta’ala bless all the Marhumin with complete forgiveness & Jannatul Firdaws.

Reformation before Alleviation ✅
The current sad state of the Ummah of Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) is indeed unprecedented in recent history.
The Ummah is challenged on all fronts; from widespread oppression, to poverty and illness. To the political scandals and the current pandemic etc.
Whilst we believe that every difficulty is undoubtedly followed by ease, the current situation is such, that ease is not yet in sight.
👌🏽The Grand Muhaddith of our era, Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah (hafizahullah) frequently laments over the fact that despite these circumstances, there is still no awakening in the Ummah❗️
How would we then be eligible for Allah’s mercy❓❗️
Shaykh (hafizahullah) recently advised that the following be included in our daily du’as:
اللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْنا وَفَرِّجْ عَنَّا
Allahumma aslih na wa farrij ‘anna
O Allah! Reform us and relieve us.
🤲🏼 May Allah Ta’ala alleviate the suffering throughout the Ummah, soon. Amin.

✔️ Pronunciation of the Rajab du’a 🤲🏼
🔎 Q. In the Rajab du’a, what is the correct pronunciation of the (ب)? Is it في رجبَ or في رجبٍ?
📚 A. The word Rajab is declinable (منصرف i.e. it can take a tanwin). Therefore the du’a is more accurately recited as: بارك لنا في رجبٍ.. (..bariklana fi Rajabin)
(Refer: Al Misbahul Munir, pg. 120 and Al Adab Fi Rajab, pg: 29)
🔗See the authenticity of this du’a here: hadithanswers.com/authenticity-of-the-rajab-dua/
🔎 And here for when to recite it:
https://hadithanswers.com/when-to-recite-the-dua-of-rajab/
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
Answered by: Moulana Suhail Motala
Approved by: Moulana Muhammad Abasoomar,
To recite it without a tanwin (Rajaba) is also one view but not the ideal, as mentioned by Mulla ‘Ali Qari (rahimahullah) in the above reference, as well as in Mirqat, hadith: 1369.

The Du’a of the Tabi’un when Ramadan commenced 🤲🏼
👌🏽Abdul ‘Aziz ibn Abi Rawwad (rahimahullah) reports: “The Muslims would make the following du’a when Ramadan commenced:
Allahumma azalla shahru Ramadana wa hadar, fasallimhu li wa sallimni fihi wa tasallamhu minni. Allahummar zuqni siyamahu wa qiyamahu sabran wahtisaban, warzuqni fihil jidda wal ijtihada wal quwwata wan nashat, wa a’idhni fihi minas sa-amati wal fatrati wal kasali wan nu’as, wa waffiqni fihi li laylatil qadr, waj’alha khayral li min alfi shahr
Translation: O Allah! The month of Ramadan has arrived so safeguard it for me, keep me safe in it and accept it from me. O Allah! Allow me to fast and stand in Salah patiently and with anticipation of reward. Bless me during the month with earnestness, the ability to strive, strength and eagerness/energy. Protect me in it from weariness, slackness, laziness and lethargy. Grant me the ability to attain Laylatul Qadr and make it better for me than a thousand months.

Our Nabi’s (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) beautiful, comprehensive Du’a for the Sahabah🤲🏼
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (radiyallahu ‘anu) said:
“Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) came out to us leaning on a stick. When we saw him, we stood up.
He said: ‘Do not do what the Persians do for their leaders.’
We said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, why don’t you pray to Allah for us?’
He said:
‘Allahummaghfirlana, warhamna, wardha ‘anna, wa taqabbal minna, wa adkhilnal-jannah, wa najjina minan-nar, wa aslih lana sha-nana kullah.’
Translation
O Allah, forgive us and have mercy on us, be pleased with us and accept [our good deeds] from us, admit us into Jannah and save us from Jahannam and rectify all our affairs.
It was as if we wanted him to say more, but he said: ‘Have I not summed up everything for you?”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 3836)
📿 There are 7️⃣ things mentioned in this du’a. Each one of them is needed by every person & should therefore be included in our daily du’as.

Love for the Sunnah
The son of Shaykh ‘Awwamah, Dr Muhyuddeen (hafizahumallah), writes:
“My respected father continuously encouraged his family in the home to adopt the various Sunnahs of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam). He encourages them by saying that these Sunnahs create closeness and love for Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) and being laxed in the Sunnah is a result of hardheartedness, and it distances a person from Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam).
Among the Sunnahs that my respected father was very particular about, are the following:
1. Keeping the pants above the ankles.
2. Covering the head.
3. Offering the Sunnah Salah before and after the Fard Salah.
4. Offering the Fard Salah in congregation.
5. Doing every good thing with the right.
6. Spreading the Salam.
(continued)
(Safahatun mudi-ah, pg. 71-73)

🍇🍌 What to do when receiving the 1st Fruit of the Season 🍉🍒🍓
Several Sahabah (radiyallahu’anhum) have
reported that when the first fruit of the season used to be brought to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam), he would kiss it, touch it to his eyes & recite the following du’a [among others].
He (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) would then give that fruit to the smallest child who was in his presence:
اللهُمَّ كَمَا أَرَيْتَنا أَوَّلَه أَرِنا آخِرَه
Allahumma kama araytana awwalahu, arina akhirahu
Translation: O Allah! just as You have shown us the first of it, allow us to see the last of it.
(Abu Dawud in his Kitabul Maraseel, Ibnus Sunni & Tabarani)
‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared the narration of Tabarani as sahih (authentic).💯
Explanation ⤵️
The reason for giving it to the child is
1⃣ Either because of the similarity between the two that both are new in the world or
2⃣ because of the extreme joy that a child experiences through this.🌟
🔎 The reason for Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) kissing the fruit and touching it to his eyes is because it has been newly created by Allah Ta’ala. Just as he (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) would go out in the rain and open his chest [so the rain may touch him] & he would say: ‘Verily it [the raindrops] have only recently arrived from my Rabb !’
🌧☄💦
💡 Another Lesson
The above also teaches us that: the Sahabah (radiyallahu’anhum) would bring the first produce of their orchards to Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) to acquire Barakah
✅ Nowadays some people do -admirably-emulate this in a way, by presenting their first produce to their teachers, seniors, elders of the family etc for Barakah.

🤲🏼 Du’a to attain whatever one asks for 🤲🏼
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Whomsoever recites the following du’a in the morning and evening will be granted whatever he asks of Allah:
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي، وَأَنْتَ تَهْدِينِي، وَأَنْتَ تُطْعِمُنِي، وَأَنْتَ تَسْقِينِي، وَأَنْتَ تُمِيتُنِي، وَأَنْتَ تُحْيِينِي
Allahumma anta khalaqtani wa anta tahdini wa anta tut’imuni wa anta tasqini wa anta tumituni wa anta tuhyini
(Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 1032)
Sayyiduna Samurah ibn Jundub (radiyallahu ‘anhu) heard this Hadith repeatedly from Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).
This was also the Du’a of Nabi Musa (‘alayhissalam).
