One will be cast into Jahannam together with haram wealth one spent in avenues of good

Al Qasim ibn Mukhaymirah (rahimahullah) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whomsoever earns wealth from sinful [sources] and joins family ties, gives charity or spends in the path of Allah from that wealth, it will all be collected together [with him] and cast into Jahannam.”

(Al Marasil, Hadith: 131. Also see: Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 549)

Seeking rizq through moderate & halal avenues

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“There is no deed that will gain you proximity to Jannah except that I have ordered you to carry it out, and I have prohibited you from all deeds that will take you close to the fire. None of you should feel [that his] sustenance is delayed. Jibril (‘alayhis salam) cast in my heart that no one will leave the world until he completes [his allotted portion] of sustenance. Fear Allah, O people, and be moderate in seeking [sustenance]. If any of you feels that his sustenance is delayed, he should not seek it through the disobedience of Allah, for Allah’s Kindness cannot be attained through disobedience.”

(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 2 pg. 4)

Pardoning a debtor

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu’anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:
There was a man who used to give loans to people. He used to say to his servant: “If you come across a person in financial constraints then forgive him, perhaps Allah will forgive us.” When he met Allah, Allah forgave him.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 3480)

Riba/Usury will always end up in loss and humiliation

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Usury/Interest, even though it may be abundant [outwardly], it will always result in a loss/humiliation.”

Generosity in paying debts duly and demanding payment

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu’anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
A man entered Jannah due to his generosity in paying debts duly and his leniency in demanding payment.
(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 2 pg. 210)

✅ Paying our dues responsibly on time, is a Sunnah of our Beloved Nabi (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam).
One who is irresponsible in this regard is actually misrepresenting our Beautiful Deen of Islam.

Cheating and deceiving to increase profits

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) has narrated that “Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) prohibited that people involve themselves in najash (a form of cheating)
(Sahih Bukhari, 2140 & Sahih Muslim, 1413)

Explanation
The word najash has two meanings:
1️⃣To praise a product or commodity to push its sale or put it into circulation. (This refers to undue praise void of sincerity. It is done to cheat others and earn a profit, putting the customer at a loss).
2️⃣To increase the price of a certain product or commodity (like: during an auction) without having the intention of buying it.

❗️Both these malpractices are prohibited in this Hadith.
(Al-Minhaj, Hadith: 3790-3797, & An-Nihayah Fi Gharibil Hadith, Letters: ن ج ش)

Making an effort to earn one’s livelihood

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Zakariyya was a carpenter.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2379)

‘Allamah Nawawi (rahimahullah) states that this Hadith proves the permissibility of manufacturing/workmanship and that carpentry is not contrary to chivalry. He also states that this Hadith explains the virtue of Nabi Zakariyya (‘alayhis salam) for he would eat through earning a livelihood which Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) termed as ‘the best thing a man can eat’.
(Sahih Muslim with commentary of ‘Allamah Nawawi, Hadith: 6112)

An amazing dream of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Sayyiduna ‘Abdur Rahman ibn Samurah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that once Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) came out to us and said [as part of a longer Hadith]:

“…Then I saw a man from my Ummah whose scale-pan of good deeds was light, but then his goodly loans came and made his scale-pan heavy.”

Trading after Jumu’ah Salah

Allah Ta’ala says:
‘Then when the Salah [of Jumu’ah] is terminated, disperse on earth and seek from Allah’s grace, and remember Allah frequently so that you may be successful.
(Surah Jumu’ah, Verse: 10)

‘Allamah Ibn Kathir (rahimahullah) has quoted ‘one of the pious predecessors’ to have said: ‘Whoever trades after Jumu’ah salah, will receive seventy times more barakah from Allah.’

He has also cited that the Sahabi; Sayyiduna ‘Irak ibn Malik (radiyallahu’anhu) would also seek his rizq (sustenance) after Jumu’ah.
(Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Surah Jumu’ah, Verse: 10)
